After basketball, he was a manager for the Corn Belt Grain Company and owned Miller Insurance Agency. He wound up involved in the government of Benton County from 1947 to 1968. Miller died in 1968 of a heart attack.
Biz married Lelia Steele (1902-1992) of Huntington in 1924 and they had three sons and one daughter.
