Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, Glasco was a popular athlete in the east, not only playing semi-pro baseball but also played almost 20 years of basketball for many pro outfits along the Atlantic seaboard. He played many years in the Eastern League as well as 8 seasons in the ABL.
