After being captain of the high school team at BCHS, Morley went to Georgetown for one year where he played football and basketball. He then returned home to play for Boston College. He started a long professional career after that, joining independent Boston team St. Alphonsus and also played with Adams in the Interstate Basketball League. He became an intergral part of the Boston Whirlwinds for many years, including the first season of the ABL. The Whirlwinds returned to the ABL as the Boston Trojans in 1934. Morley died in 1968.
