The brother of Al Price, Bernard grew up in Toledo but relocated with the family to Chicago. He played for many years with the Globetrotters, and also put in one season with the Flyers in the NBL. After his years with the Globetrotters (the exact seasons are not quite certain), he worked for Ford and Yellow Freight. He died of kidney failure in 2002.
He was married to Joan and had four sons; Bernard, Michael, Steven and Vincent.
