Good was released by Portland on December 8, 1947.
There was a Melvin B. Goode out of Salem around that time, born 1911, died 1983, who went to Williamette University. We was an prominent attorney and business leader who played tennis at WU. Not likely to be him, but I would like more info before excluding him.
