AMERICAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE (II)
16-16 .500, 4th place
First Round: Lost to Paterson, 2-0
The Atoms had attendance issues through the first few months, and in the middle of January the team changed its home to Union City, New Jersey, while looking for a more suitable location. After spitting two games as Union City, the 8-9 team moved to Scranton to become the Miners. Red Wallace took over as player/coach and lead the new-look club to a fourth place finish and a spot in the ABL Playoffs.
