Jim Springer, who played for the Anderson Packers and the Indianapolis Kautskys in the NBL and the Indy Jets in the BAA, died this past February in Indianapolis. He was 91 years of age. He also played some in the American Basketball League and the All-American Pro League.
Springer was likely the last surviving man to have played for the Kautskys. There are some Kautsky players I haven't gotten ID's for, but not likely that any of them are still alive.
I will be updating his blog post as soon as I can with more biographical information from his obituary.
