After a successful collegiate career at Toledo, Hintz joined the Chevrolets for two years before joining the USMC and served during World War 2. After the war, he began a long career as a school teacher, administrator and superintendent, including superintendent terms in Hanover and Saline, Michigan.
Married Martha Berry (1916-2007), and had two sons, Patrick and Michael.
I have seen other sources that list Pat Hintz as being born in October of 1914 and dying in 1994, but I think the two links below (UT and Saline Rep) point to the correct Pat Hintz, especially since the description of his Masters Degree and Education career.
