First Round: Lost to Baltimore, 2-1

The Gotham's rolled off to a great start, winning 13 of their first 16 games including eight straight victories. On February 3, the club sold their highest scorer, Frido Frey, to the BAA's Knicks. This prompted head coach Marty Cohen to resign and Bob Greenberg took over the club for the remainder of the season. They still won the division but lost in the first round of the playoffs to Baltimore.
