1946-47 Trenton Tigers (ABL)
Not much found here. Other sites list him as "Al" and playing in five games for Trenton, but I have only found his surname in 3 boxscores. I found an article from the early 1940's that mentions a player on Columbia's basketball team named John Cerny. I think this is most likely the player.
I thought about the possibility of it being Al Cervi, but Cervi was already a star player in the NBL at this point, and double-dipping into the ABL is not likely (neither is a player of Cervi's skill scoring only 8 point in 4 games and not being touted highly)
