Don Parsons, a basketball star at Rutgers who was drafted by the Knicks in the sixth round in 1950 and played with Paterson in the ABL, died last month at 89. He had been in declining health for a while. My sympathies go out to his widow and family, including current Memphis Grizzly Chandler Parsons.
