Born to Patrick and Helen McLaughlin, the 6'3 Tom went 53 consecutive games scoring double-digit points, a remarkable record at King's College. He played for the Wilkes-Barre Barons in the 1951-52 season before taking work with the Commercial Credit Company in Trenton, New Jersey.
