Born in 1905, Jimmy's father Joseph died that same year. His mother, Eva (Slominsky) would later remarry to George Kamenetsky, The guard from Newark, 5'7 and 130 pounds, was a popular basketball player around Newark before signing larger deals in the midwest, first in Akron and then with the Detroit Cardinals in the ABL. He would eventually return to Newark and player pro and semi-pro for a few more years.
Most of this info comes from his 1930 census records that lists his career as a pro basketball player. Still trying to piece the rest of this information together.
He was married to Rose Cooperman (1909-1978) and they had two daughters, Judith and Barbara (1948-2008).
