Len played many years with his twin brother Howie, including high school, college, during World War 2, and professionally with the Blackhawks and the SPHA's. After a season with the Blackhawks, he headed to Birmingham in the PBLA before returning to the NBL. He also apparently played and coached for Montgomery in the Southern Basketball League.
He was married to Paula (1925-2004).
