After playing at Indiana, Logan served in the U.S. Army during World War 2. He played for the St. Louis Bombers for four seasons before moving to Tri-Cities. While with the Blackhawks, he also served as interim head coach for three games. He also served in the Korean War.
I heard he was stabbed to death in 1977, but as of yet cannot find any newspaper article to substantiate this.
