Raised in South Philly, Steve Juenger went to Temple where he played basketball for four years. After graduating, he worked at Bristol High School as a coach and teacher. After two years there, he moved over to Haverford, and after a year became the head basketball coach, a job he would hold for decades. During these early years, he would supplement his income playing basketball in the American and Eastern League, as well as the Tri-County League.

After his death in 2003, Haverford set up a memorial fund in his honor.

Born in Austria, Kinsbruner's family came the USA when Mac was young and he grew up in Brooklyn. He played basketball, baseball and football. He enrolled at Syracuse, but quickly transferred to St John's where he was a member of the famous Wonder Five basketball team there. While at St. John's, aside from the three afore-mentioned sports, we also played on the soccer team and ran track. He went with the other member of the basketball team to form the professional squad, the Brooklyn Jewels. The team joined the the ABL in 1933, and Kinsbruner, with his unorthodox shot, would play professionally through the mid-40's. During this time, he was a teacher at Boys HS in Brooklyn. He would go on to own a hotel in Miami before returning to New York, where he died of a heart attack in 1972.

He and his wife, Florence, had two sons and a daughter.

NATIONAL BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME, 1964

Russell was a long time basketball player and then coach. Playing at some point in almost every league in the East, he found himself in the ABL with Cleveland in 1925, and in a couple years later after joining the Chicago Bruins, became the head coach as well as a player. Hopping to various outfits, he took the head coaching job at Seton Hall in 1936, and in the next few seasons would lead the school to prominence, including a record 41-game winning streak in 1941. The school disbanded its athletic program during World War 2, and Russell became the first coach of the Boston Celtics in the new BAA. He returned to Seton Hall when the school brought the program back, and he stayed there until 1960. He would work for many years as a baseball scout, finding players like Joe Torre.

Honey was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1964, and died following a short illness in 1973.

He and his wife, Charlotte, had two daughters and one son.
