Bernie Sarachak's Miners rolled to a regular-season title, and battled through some tough play-off games to win the ABL title. After dispatched two-time defending champions and geographical rival Wilkes-Barre in the opening round, Scranton knocked out Bridgeport in a tough five-game set to bring the ABL Championship to Scranton for the first time.
