Prior to this blog entry, he was known simply as "Lamb." I am fairly certain he is Rody Lamb, All-Western and All-State quarterback and basketball player from Lombard College (now known as Knox College) in Galesburg, Illinois. Lamb would play four seasons in the NFL, with Rock Island and the Chicago Cardinals, as well as playing one game with the Chicago Bruins. Around 1930, he moved to Oregon to coach football.
He and his wife, Rowena, had one son and one daughter.
