1938-39 Hammond Ciesar All-Americans (NBL)
Fowdy went to Whiting High School, and allegedly attended North Dakota but I don't see any proof of that.. Played one game for Hammond. After his basketball career, he was a superintendent in Whiting. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War 2.
Fowdy married Miriam Antilla (1919-2001) in 1941 and they had a son John and a daughter, Kathy Fowdy-Dorr.
