Only information available on justsportsstats.com
show him as a center who went to Notre Dame, and played 8 games for
Indianapolis in the NBL. Searching of Notre Dame rosters in the 1930's
yield him as William J. Schrader, and he graduated in either 1932 or
1933. A Notre Dame alumni newsletter lists him as living in Lafayette,
Indiana, in 1948. I found a marriage certificate I believe to be his:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XXTZ-MXS
This list his marriage on November 10, 1937, to Rosemary Louise Carey
(born April 29, 1913). On this certificate, we find Bill's middle name
(James), his birthdate (May 14, 1910), and his parents names, James J.
Schrader and Julia C. (Quigley). The 1940 census indicates the couple
from Lafayette had a daughter Julia, born c. 1939.

SSDI shows Schrader as dying in October of 1968. I am quite certain this is our man.
