Geneva College lists his name as being spelled "Stirling" but most
newspaper reports from his Beaver Falls games spell it "Sterling."
Military induction record for Jack B. Stirling of Beaver Falls listed in
Pittsburgh Gazette, Oct 27, 1943. From Beaver Falls and played for
Geneva College. Played a lot of basketball around Beaver Falls most of
his life. The Beaver Falls Tommies won 48 American Legion games in a row
until March 28, 1949. Stirling served in the Air Corps during World War 2.
He married Hazel Dripps and they had two daughters.
