Born to Joseph and Annie Gross, Sid played basketball while at NYU. He would play for the Visitations and later served in the US Navy..
Gross was married to Edna (1914-2001) and they had three daughters.

DeleteMy father, Sid Gross, was never in law school...did attend NYU for his bachelor's degree but never attended law school.That piece of information in "updated" is incorrect. He enlisted in the Navy early in the 1940s and served until l946
