Rosan graduated from Temple and began a long career with the SPHA's, playing on five ABL-champion teams. He was an excellent defender with very quick hands, adept at stealing. He took over the Bullets part-way into the 1944-45 season, and then next year, lead the Bullets to the ABL title.
He was married to Suky Koralsky and they had two sons.

Hi. I was wondering how you discovered Norma New Jersey as Rosan's place of birth. The only source I found mentions his birthtown as Southern Philadelphia. http://probasketballencyclopedia.com/player/red-rosan/ Thanks.

DeleteThe website you link to only indicates hometown, not the place of birth. He definitely grew up in Philly, but was born in New Jersey.
