Further research after a reader's tip lead me to the conclusion that the wrong man has been credited as Ducky Moore. As the reader stated, the correct man has been identified and all references to the "imposter" is gone. (And I found a better photo)

ReplyDeleteWilly Moore is NOT Donald "Ducky" Moore, the basketball player pictured with the ball. That is the REAL Ducky Moore, Globetrotter. Ducky hailed from Cleveland, OH, and lived from 12/13/25 to 9/25/90.

You are correct. I found Donald's death certificate and it matches with the basketball player in question. I will fix this entry up. Thank you for your correction. We are here to get it right.
