Born to Croatian immigrants, Mrazovich entered the U.S. Army after high School. Following World War 2, he played basketball and ran track at Eastern Kentucky. Drafted by the Olympians in the NBA, he was released by the club in January and signed with the Anderson Packers on January 16, 1951. He played pro basketball with the Anderson Packers and the Indianapolis Olympians before heading east to the Wilkes-Barre Barons in the ABL.

He would then become a teacher and long-time high school basketball coach in his home state of Kentucky as well as in Florida. He finally stepped down from coaching in 1973.

"We weren't allowed to dunk, but we would just to show off before the game. I wish I could play the game now." - Chuck Mrazovich, 2008 -
