Indianapolis has hoping to build on the previous season's gains, but got off to a slow start and never recovered. They managed to sneak into the playoffs with a victory over the Hawks on the last day of the season, finishing one game ahead of the afore-mentioned Hawks. They were quickly dispatched in the opening round of the playoffs by Minneapolis, but fought hard in game two before falling, 81-79. Drawing very poorly at the gate, the Olympians folded after the season.
