Is there a way to know which games he played in the NFL? I have a strong suspicion that the Celtics took him just because they were missing one guy on their roster and Eliason was able-bodied and happened to be in town. The Yanks had a game on December 8, 1946. Eliason played his game with the Celtics on December 7.
