The improved Danbury team started the season with ten-straight victories and 13 wins in 15 games. Despite the hot start and talented players like Butch Schwartz and Aud Brindley, Danbury could not get fans to attend their games. With two games left, owner Joe Minetti pulled the plug on the whole season.
