Believe Frank Iwanski's birth year should be 1912 not 1922. He played at Hillhouse High in 1932 when my dad was playing at West Haven. My dad was born in 1912. He always remembered Iwanski hitting a half-court shot at buzzer to beat West Haven in the 1930-31 season.
ReplyDeleteActually, your comments help me to properly identify Iwanski. I wasn't positive I had the correct guy. Fixed up. Thank you!
