From San Francisco, Feerick played five years of pro basketball before becoming a very successful coach at Santa Clara, leading the squad to a Final Four appearance in 1952. He also served as AD during his time there, and left to coach in the NBA for one season.
He was married to Eleanor Rogus on September 5, 1941,and they had four children, Robert, Richard, Dee and Charles.

NATIONAL BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME, 1970

Davies went to Seton Hall on a baseball scholarship, but he turned into quite the basketball player. After starring at Seton Hall, he went into the US Navy for World War 2. After the war, he played professionally for the Rochester Royals for ten seasons, forming half of a Hall of Fame backcourt tandem with Bobby Wanzer. He also put in a season as head coach at his alma mater, Seton Hall. Named the NBL's Most Valuable Player in 1946-47, Davies was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1970. He worked at the Converse Rubber Company after his basketball days. He died in 1990 after a bout with cancer.

He was married to Mary and had three sons and a daughter.

Connors was a basketball and baseball player in high school, college, and also in the professional ranks, but we know him best for his career in Hollywood, working as a rugged tough guy in many roles, most notably as the "Rifleman."


He was drafted into the army in 1942, and spent most of his military time as an instructor at West Point. He played professional basketball for many years, all the while also pursing a career in baseball. While playing in the Pacific Coast League, he caught the attention of casting agents, and soon quit baseball and basketball. Aside from acting, he also worked on his ranch in Southern California. He died of lung cancer in 1992.

Connors was married and divorced three times. He had four sons; Steven, Jeffrey, Michael and Kevin.

Born in Chicago to John and Catherine Fergus Butler.

After graduating from Notre Dame, Butler completed the V7 program at Columbia before heading to the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific. He played for three teams in the NBL before taking a job with Commercial Shearing and Stamping in Youngstown, where he stayed for 35 years until retiring in 1982.

He married Dorothy White (d. 2013) on April 21, 1945 and they had nine children; Kathleen, Charles, Michael, Patricia, John, Thomas, Margaret, Eileen and Mary Kelly.

Marshall Brown was born to Earl and Olive Brown in Troup, Texas, and grew up in nearby Whitehouse. He played college basketball at Lon Morris JC and then transferred to Texas Tech. Brown was also an outfielder and played professional baseball in the C- and D- minor leagues in the Southwest. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War 2, and after leaving the service he played briefly for the Allmen Transfers. He coached basketball at the high school and collegiate level for many years, and died in 2008 at 90.

He was married to Virginia and had a son, Terry, and a daughter, Rosemary.

Boehler played basketball and baseball in college, as well as ran track, and after college served in the army during World War 2. After a short time playing basketball with Cleveland, Boehler worked for many years as a teacher and superintendent in various school districts in Ohio. He died of cancer in 1987, just short of his 70th birthday.

He was married to Barbara and had two daughters, Kerry Marie Boehler and Deanna Lee Pohl.

Not sure where else he played college ball, if at all. He does not appear on Akron and Bowling Green's letterman lists, but some sources report he played there.
