Starting the season in Nashua, they would drop their first four and quickly got intoi trouble with attendance and a decent home curt. The franchise was scrapped and relocated to New Britain on December 20, 1946. The benefits of a new squad was felt immediately, winning 9 of ten games and climbing back into the race.
