The 6'6 Ed Anderson was quite a mystery. All I really knew was his height and race and that he went to Long Island University. I stumbled across an article recently that mentioned his hometown was Ansonia, Connecticut. I quick search of military draft records yielded one Edward Anderson from Ansonia who was the correct race and 6'4 at the age of 18. It must be the right guy.
