Born in Minnesota to Dave and Ida Silverman, Julius and the family moved to Atlanta in 1928. Julie graduated from HS and went straight into the U.S. Army, serving in Guam at the end of World War 2. He returned to the U.S. after duty and played some professional basketball. He signed with the Atlanta Crackes of the PBLA, but when the league folded just a month into the season, he moved over to the Montgomery Rebels in the Southern League. When the Southern League folded after two season, Silverman returned to Atlanta and would start his own business, the Silvex Company. He continued working until 2018 before retiring.

He was married to Edith and they had three daughters.

Lussow attended the University of Dubuque, where he played football and basketball.

Lussow enlisted in the U.S. Army to fight in World War 2. After playing for the Pro-Hawks in Waterloo, he got his Masters Degree from the University of Wisconsin and coached and taught at Bremen High School before moving to Hillcrest High School where he was athletic director.

He married Sarah Vail (1919-2003) in 1942.

Born to Jess and Maggie Lorance in 1928. In August of 1948, he signed with Syracuse in the NBL. He signed with the Wilkes-Barre Baron of the ABL in the fall of 1948, but I believe he was cut prior to the commencement of the season, so he moved on to the Steelers in the Southern League. He later served as a fireman.

Darrell married Patricia Park in 1948. They had one son and two daughters.

Note: Some encyclopedias think he died in 2014. His wife died in 2014, and he died in 2013. When she died, the family had a memorial for both of them, so his obituary was reprinted in October of 2014, but he had actually died he year before.

Born in Kremlin, to Steve and Florence Landon, Landon was a four-time letterman in basketball at OU. He played for the Ranchers while finishing up his schooling, and took a job in Wyming with Kerr-McGee. He worked as a seismographer leading teams in searching for uranium deposits in the western United States. He eventually became a vice=president at Kerr-McGee before retiring in 1982.

Jack married Anna Mae Willis in 1948 and they had two sons and a daughter.

He signed with the Chicago Stags of the BAA in October of 1946, but was cut prior to the season starting. He later worked for ICH Corporation for 20 years before his retirement. 

He married Joan and they had five sons and a daughter.

Born to John and Irma Kenelly, Pat was known for this baseball and football skills than his basketball skills. Kennelly played all three at SE Louisiana and also served in the U.S. Army during World War 2. After graduating, he coached football at Bogalusa High School in Louisiana before returning to SLU as an assistant football coach there in 1948. During this time, he tried his hand in professional basketball by playing with the New Orleans Hurricanes. He took over the baseball program in 1951, along with his football duties, and lead the squad until named head football coach in 1965, a position he held for seven seasons. Kenelly suffered a heart attack while cooking breakfast one morning and died. He was 78. SLU's baseball field is named in his honor.

He was married to Bert Armistad and they had a son (Ken, who also played football at Southeatern) and a daughter. After Bert's passing, he remarried to Ruth Settoon.

Born to William and Johanna Kaeding in Nebraska. A skilled baseball player, he graduated from Benedict High School in 1937 and entered the Civilian Conservation Corps. It was in the CCC he learned how to play basketball, and he took to it and by the time he finished his 18 months in the CCC, he enrolled at York College and played basketball there. He entered the U.S. Navy after after a few years at York, and returned after the war. He signed with the Tomahawks and played basketball there briefly before taking a teaching and coaching job at Beatrice High School. He later taught and coached and Beatrice Junior High before becoming the principal there, retiring in 1984. He played semi-pro baseball in the Beatrice area through 1955, and was inducted into the Nebraska Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012.

Wayne's brother Jim was a teammate of Wayne's at York as well as with the Tomahawks.  He married Ellen Meyer in 1947 and they had one daughter.

Born to William and Johanna Kaeding in York County, Nebraska, Jim went to York College before serving in the U.S. Navy during World War 2. He returned to York after the war, and after graduating, he played pro basketball with the Omaha Tomahawks of the PBLA. He also began teaching and coaching in Sutton, Nebraska, before moving to Muscatine, Iowa in 1958. After coaching and teaching at MCS, we moved over to be a middle school principal before retiring in 1984. Jim was killed in a car accident in 1990 at the age of 67.

He married Klea Johnson (1922-2010) in 1946 and they had three daughters and one son. His brother Wayne was a teammate of his both at York College and with the Tomahawks.

6'3. Supposedly went to St John's Prep with Chattanooga teammate Red Dehnert. Found a Harry Johnson who played at Jackson HS in Queens who was a high scorer and stood 6'2, so that might be the guy. Way too many Harry Johnson's in NYC at that time to narrow down.
